Marek Zeman

Marek Zeman is an information and cyber security expert. He is the General Director of the Competence and Certification Center for Cyber Security and also lectures at the Faculty of Informatics and Information Technologies of the Slovak University of Technology in Bratislava. He has more than 20 years of experience managing information security at a large financial institution, where he served as CISO.

His research focuses on information security management and the security aspects of modern technologies, in particular artificial intelligence, autonomous systems and the implementation of AI in robotic process automation (RPA).

As a volunteer he chaired the Qubit CISO Club and is the author of information security textbooks and methodologies for primary and secondary schools. His professional mission is the systematic building of information security awareness across society, from technical experts to the general public.
